- Every link in the widget carries
utm_source=embedso the inbound click shows up in the bureau's analytics, attributed to your site as the referrer. - The widget refreshes server-side every hour (s-maxage=3600, stale-while-revalidate=86400). The dispatch changes at most once a day, so your readers see the current lead within an hour of filing.
- No JavaScript runs inside the iframe. No fonts are loaded from third parties. No cookies are set. The whole surface is one HTML document with inline styles.
- Attribution required by the bureau's license: the wordmark and the "Filed by The Office" line must stay visible. Don't crop the iframe to hide them.
